Illusion of a fragmented interior
Acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas, signed in the lower right corner. Hanging hardware is included.
Illusion of a Fragmented Interior is a journey into the subconscious. Created without a reference photo, this piece began as a pure exploration of space and form. My goal was to challenge traditional depth by using multiple perspectives, creating the effect of a puzzle or a dreamlike interior where walls, stairs, and floors seem to shift and overlap.
The style of this work is heavily influenced by Cubism and Abstract Expressionism. I used my signature geometric and cubist-inspired approach to deconstruct a domestic space into vibrant, flat planes of color. By focusing on bold colors and flattened perspective, I’ve created a visual maze that invites the viewer to find their own path through the architecture. To me, this painting represents the organized chaos of our internal thoughts—a structured yet unpredictable "interior" world.
