Coastal Cubism
Acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvas, signed in the lower right corner. Hanging hardware is included.
In this painting, I wanted to explore my deep fascination with architecture and the way geometric shapes can represent the world around us. I have always been drawn to the clean lines and structural strength of buildings, and here I used a cubist style to simplify a coastal village into its most essential forms.
I used vibrant, contrasting colors and bold outlines to create a sense of architectural stability among the houses clustered by the water. The central structure acts as an anchor for the composition. This work is a reflection of my personal love for bold geometry and the organized beauty found in coastal architecture.
