Architectural still life
Acrylic on gallery-wrapped canvass. Hanging hardware is included.
In my latest new original art work, I have explored a unique blend of geometric abstraction and still life. I wanted to see how a simple, clean subject—like the vases and pots you see in the center—could be transformed when framed by a complex, interlocking grid of shapes and lines.
I chose a palette of muted tones for the central vessels to create a sense of calm, then surrounded them with vibrant accents of yellow, pink, and red. By focusing on straight lines and sharp angles, I aimed to create a feeling of intense order and structure. This piece is a study in balance, using my signature visible brushstrokes to create a modern, rhythmic connection between the objects and the space around them.
